Call for Papers
We invite submissions on computer-assisted interventions (CAI) for surgical and medical procedures, including mixed-reality-enabled methods and broader intervention-centric medical imaging advances. We particularly encourage work with clinically relevant workflows spanning preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, visualization, interaction, training, and translational deployment.
Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Mixed-reality-enabled intervention and procedural visualization
- Interventional oncology and image-guided intervention
- Multimodal fusion, registration, and calibration
- Segmentation, tracking, and scene understanding for CAI
- Surgical navigation, tool-tissue interaction, and workflow intelligence
- Clinical skills training, simulation, and evaluation
- Remote care, telepresence, digital twins, and integrated CAI platforms
- CAI applications across abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, dental, neuro, and other procedural domains
In addition to mixed-reality topics, we explicitly welcome medical imaging and intervention papers with clear CAI relevance and clinical translation potential.
Submission Guidance
All submissions and peer reviews will be handled on OpenReview as required by MICCAI 2026 Workshop policy. Please note that CMT or other alternative platforms cannot be used.
We will publish the official OpenReview submission link and detailed configuration instructions as soon as the MICCAI workshop chairs release the organizer materials (expected by April 10, 2026). The review process will follow MICCAI workshop guidelines with double-blind review and proceedings arrangements aligned with the MICCAI Satellite Events process.
