About Our Workshop
From planning and intraoperative guidance to clinical training, deployment, and translation.
PRiSM is a dedicated MICCAI 2026 workshop focused on computer-assisted interventions (CAI), with a strong track on mixed-reality-enabled intervention and clinically grounded imaging-to-intervention workflows. The workshop brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to discuss advances in image-guided intervention, navigation, visualization, interaction, training, and translational deployment.
Why PRiSM?
- Dedicated focus on CAI workflows, including mixed-reality-enabled intervention
- Strong emphasis on clinical translation and deployment
- Hands-on demo experiences with intervention systems and translational prototypes
- Cross-disciplinary participation from academia, clinics, and industry
Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Mixed-reality-enabled intervention and procedural visualization
- Interventional oncology and image-guided intervention
- Multimodal fusion, registration, and calibration
- Segmentation, tracking, and scene understanding for CAI
- Surgical navigation, tool-tissue interaction, and workflow intelligence
- Clinical skills training, simulation, and evaluation
- Remote care, telepresence, digital twins, and integrated CAI platforms
- CAI applications across abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, dental, neuro, and other procedural domains
In addition to mixed-reality topics, we explicitly welcome medical imaging and intervention papers with clear CAI relevance and clinical translation value.
